Waking Up Your Pond:

First things first, it’s essential to give your pond a little TLC as the temperatures rise:

• Pond Cleaning: Start by removing any debris, leaves, and muck that accumulated over the winter. A clean pond is a healthy pond!
• Filter Check: Inspect and clean your filtration system. Ensure everything is working correctly to maintain crystal-clear water.
• Water Testing: Test your water parameters. This is crucial for your fish’s health. We have kits available to help you!
• Gradual Feeding: As the water warms up, start introducing food to your fish slowly. Remember to use a high-quality spring/autumn specific food until the water temperature consistently reaches above 10-12°C.
